Who will be my contact at Red Jacket Group?
A dedicated team of professional recruiters and co-ordinators are available for each area we cover.

How do I register with a Red Jacket Group division?
You can register with us using the online registration or click on the ‘Create an account’ link at the top right of our web page.  

How long does your staff registration take?
Our registration is a very important process for both us and you. We have a dedicated registration team that works stringently to our 766 employment procedures.

What employment checks do you require?
We operate the Red Jacket Group's 766 standards of pre-employment checks. Contact the office for more details.

Will I require a DBS check to work for Red Jacket Group?
This depends on who and where you are working, we can offer you this service in house, and is free of charge for both temp and perm staff if it is a requirement of the client.

What happens if I am subscribed to the new DBS annual update service?
This means that your current DBS certificate will be automatically updated and verified by us directly online thus speeding up your registration.

Can I send you a photocopy of my original DBS Certificate?
Unfortunately, no, we need to see the original or a verified copy, and even then, we will need to verify it online.

Once registration is completed will I get a Red Jacket ID badge?
If you are a temporary worker then yes you will. Your personal ID badge will be sent out to you when your registration with Red Jacket Group is complete.

What training do you offer and where is the training held?
Our in-house Training Academy offers a wide variety of accredited training.

Does Red Jacket Group provide staff with a uniform?
Yes, all Red Jacket staff that require a uniform will be provided with a Red Jacket tunic and ID badge.

How do I find out what temporary shifts are available?
Via the Temp Buddy app, via our website, by emailing us or by calling our head office on 0333 355 9998. Alternatively, you can also notify us of your availability via Temp Buddy.

How do I know that I am booked on a shift?
This is where we are way ahead of our competitors. Temp Buddy will notify you of available shifts direct to your phone, iPad or computer and to accept a shift all you have to do is press ‘yes’.

How do I give you my availability?
You can do this either by calling our office on 033 355 9998 or by using the Temp Buddy app that will be made available to you after registration.

What is Temp Buddy?
Temp Buddy is our fully-automated workforce management platform.

What is a workforce management platform?
We have invested in to digital platforms to allow us real-time contact with you. Temp Buddy manages shift allocation and it allows us to offer you shifts that you can accept by swiping yes or no – it’s as easy as that!

To which sectors do you supply staff?
We have a wide variety of temporary and permanent work available throughout the UK. We also have contacts in Western Europe and the Middle East.

Do I have to be PAYE or are there other options open to me?
As a temporary worker You can be a PAYE candidate, or as a PSC (Personal Services Company) or via an authorised umbrella company. Our team will be only too happy to discuss these options with you.

What do I need to do if I am a PSC (Personal Services Company)?
If you are a PSC, we will require a valid Certificate of Incorporation that shows the company registration number and from this we will carry out a company search to confirm that you are in fact a director of that company.

What if I wish to use an umbrella company?
All PSC documentation must have been received and signed, including our PSC terms and conditions. The umbrella company must be registered and operate in the UK and we will require a valid Certificate of Incorporation that shows the Company Registration number. From this we will carry out a company search to confirm that it meets our criteria. Also, bank account details must be supplied for the umbrella company (not you the candidate).

How can I submit my timesheets?
Once registered you will have access to our workforce platform Temp Buddy. This application manages all timesheet processes automatically, including electronic signatures and verifications.

What is the deadline for submitting my timesheets?
The deadline for submitting your timesheet is 1pm on a Monday. If you are submitting via Temp Buddy then your timesheet will be sent to us automatically once you have checked out at the end of your last shift that week.
